Thursday Discovery Scout PackThe 29th Glasgow currently has two Scout Troops catering for boys and girls in the age range of 10½ to 14. We call them “Discovery” Scouts as we provide a programme based on Land and Sea Scouting. Within the Discovery Scouts you will find opportunities to camp, hike, sail, ski, kayak, climb, powerboat, mountain bike as well as all the traditional Scout activities.

The Thursday Discovery Scouts are led by Ross Smith. Ross is supported in running the section by nine other leaders all with various childcare, Scout and outdoor activities qualifications and experience. The section has only been running for four years but already has over 50 members attending on a regular basis. The weekly meetings are held in our Scout Halls and run from 7.00pm till 8.45pm.

Anyone wanting to join should come along on any Thursday night or e-mail Ross through the link on the left.
